Kidz Klub works in deprived parts of Leeds running children’s clubs, and other frontline activities, with the hope that children will become lifelong followers of Jesus.
Your partnership has enabled us to carry out regular home visits over the past six months totalling 6988 home visits to children and their families… this consistency of being present on the streets and visiting children at home is at the heart of all we do and over the past 6 months relationships have deepened enabling us to support the children well. Through each home visiting round we also share the week’s teaching point which we call the ‘power phrase’. Teaching topics covered over the past 6 months across activities have included; encountering Jesus after Easter, how Jesus loves us even when we are not sure and when we make mistakes (this felt like something the children really needed to hear), people meeting the resurrected Jesus, how the Holy Spirit embraces all languages, cultures and nations and we are all part of God’s family, how the Holy Spirit is living water that never runs out, We are who God says we are.
